Elbow pain is common. Local disorders are fairly easy to identify. The elbow consists of three joint: humeroulnar, humeroradial and upper radioulnar. Movements are flexion, extension, pronation and extension. There six ligaments and the muscles. There can be capsular patterns or joint laxity. Common are lateral epicondylisis (tennis elbow) or medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow). Acupuncture is almost always effective. These diagnoses respond well to acupuncture the great majority of the time.
